I am writing to offer my sincerest recommendation for Makeup Artist Sarah Bonnel. Sarah did my makeup on my wedding day in May 2009, and I could not have been happier with the experience. Sarah took ample time before the big day to get to know me and to fully understand what I was looking for. I was impressed by her ability to create the very effect wanted, as well as her willingness to make small changes I asked for. On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and enjoy the morning with Sarah's calm presence, and not worry about perfecting my own makeup. It was a wonderful choice to have Sarah be a part of my wedding day.

Sarah Bonnel was in large part responsible for making my wedding day the MOST amazing day of my life!!! She was referred to me as a make-up artist by one of my bridesmaids and I could not be happier with the results. My make-up was amazing and I looked GORGEOUS!!! First Sarah came and did my make-up weeks before the wedding so we could decide how I wanted it done, then she did my make-up on the day of the wedding and I was a beautiful and happy bride. My mom, my bridesmaids and my photographer were so impressed with her work... not to mention my husband was thrilled. Our pictures are fantastic. I’ve now been a bridemaid in two weddings where Sarah Bonnel has been the make-up artist. What most stands out to me about those two very different events, is the two brides could not be more opposite in personality! One was very laid back and doesn’t normally where a lot of make-up. She wanted a pretty natural daytime, fresh-faced look. The other friend wanted a much more dramatic look that would carry her from mid-afternoon all the way into her beautiful and dramatically themed evening reception. In both cases Sarah did and AMAZING job of really hearing what each bride wanted, took into account there personalities and dispositions and both of them could not have been more thrilled with the results. As for my make-up, well, this was 11th and 12th time being a bridesmaid and I’ve never worked with a make-up artist more professional, thoughtful and genuinely fun to be around as Sarah. I loved the results of my make-up both times and when the next wedding roles around Sarah will be the first person I call…for the bride’s and my own make-up!

Initially I didn’t intend on having a make-up artist on my wedding day, but I’m so glad I had Sarah there. There are so many stresses on that day and Sarah’s calm demeanor and excellent skills helped me to rest and feel confident that I would look my best on my wedding day. Sarah met with me prior to the wedding and helped me figure out what kind of a look I wanted. She was flexible, professional and friendly. She was able to make me look beautiful and elegant but still look like me. She had the knowledge and experience to know how to do my make-up in a way that would look good in different types of light as well as what types of make-up reflect or absorb a camera flash, so I would also look good in my photographs. An old friend told me after the wedding, “You looked the most beautiful I’ve ever seen you”. Which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!

I just wanted to write and thank you so much for the amazing job you did for me and my girls. The photos have started trickling in, and I am repeatedly amazed by how good we look in them. I have never had so many pictures where I look so beautiful, and a lot of that was your work. There are photos taken indoors and outdoor, and regardless of the lighting I look flawless.
